Slicing Up a Graphic in Photoshop

Slicing is used to cut up a graphic for individual graphic file optimization and hyper-linkage.

The following videos demonstrates how to slice up a graphic image in Photoshop.
NOTE: These videos may not relate directly to the most current software used.

Content includes:
1) Using the Slice tool
2) Layer based slices
3) Promoting layer based slices
4) Using the Slice info box to name a slice, including standard naming conventions (no caps, no spaces)
5) File types (GIF, JPEG, PNG) and optimizing the file (# colours, transparency, quality)
6) Selecting multiple slices
7) Saving files as html and images
